Roman is asked about the mugging and if he’s prepared for his match tonight? Regardless of how he feels, Roman has an obligation to defend the title every night. It doesn’t matter how many people it is because it’s one versus all. Roman already spears the guts out of Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho every time and tonight won’t be different. Roman says that he’ll leave them on the mat holding their ribs while he stands tall holding the US Title over his head.
Stephanie McMahon, Mick Foley and The Undertaker In-Ring Segment:
"I've dug 29 holes for 29 souls … and I will be bringing THE DARKSIDE to the #RoyalRumble Match!" – #Undertaker #RAW pic.twitter.com/LNBwN0qBdz

Foley has had a number of encounters with the Undertaker and he’s calling on him for one more encounter. Foley wants the Undertaker to take a trip from the dark side to New Orleans. He has been doing this for 32 years and he has had no greater honor than the chills from the lights going out and the gong sounding. The Gong hits, but Stephane McMahon comes down to the ring. Foley has failed to produce the Undertaker so it is time for the performance review.
The New Orleans lack of reaction is due to Mick’s failure to produce the Undertaker. Foley has dome some good things like the pairing of Sheamus and Cesaro, the Women’s Hell in a Cell Match, Chris Jericho in the shark tank. For every step forward, Foley takes two steps back, like putting the Cruiserweights on the line, his obsession with Sami Zayn, and RAW lost to Smackdown in the ratings. Then the empty promise of the Undertaker. Mick says that he’s sorry.
The Undertaker makes his way to the ring. Undertaker says that he’s back. Undertaker announces that he’ll be entering the Royal Rumble Match. Braun Strowman is watching on the monitor in the back. Undertaker answers to no one. He goes where he wants, when he wants. Nobody controls the Undertaker. Undertaker has returned to the city where he suffered his most devastating loss and the place where the Streak came to its demise. His journey continues to the Royal Rumble. Taker dug 29 holes for 29 souls. He will be bringing the dark side to the Royal Rumble match. When he wins, he will return to the main event of WrestleMania. If anyone stands in his way, they will Rest, In, Peace.
