Triple H goes for a Pedigree, but Sting counters with a back body drop that sends him crashing to the outside. Sting with a flying crossbody onto DX on the outside. Sting rolls Triple H back into the ring. Triple H drops Sting with the Pedigree for a two count. Triple H brings out a sledge hammer from under the ring. nWo music hits and they start brawling with DX. Sting plants Triple H with the Scorpion Death Drop for a two count. Sting gets Triple H back into the Scorpion Death Lock. Triple H reaches for the sledgehammer, but Hulk Hogan snatches the sledgehammer away from Triple H. X-Pac sends Hulk Hogan face first into the steel ring post.
Billy Gunn chop blocks Kevin Nash. Scott Hall goes for the Razor Edge, but Road Dogg counters with a back body drop. Sting has Triple H still trapped in the Scorpion Death Lock, but Shawn Michaels comes into the ring and SuperKicks Sting. Triple H with the cover, but Sting kicks out at two. Billy Gunn gives Triple H the Sledgehammer. Sting backs himself into the corner. Scott Hall hands Sting a baseball bat. Sting hits Triple H in the gut with the baseball bat. Sting breaks the sledgehammer with the Baseball Bat. Sting drops the bat and starts kicking Triple H’s ass in the corner. Sting connects with the Stinger Splash. Sting goes for another Stinger Splash, but Triple H hits Sting across the face with the head of the broken sledgehammer to pickup the victory. After the match, Sting shakes hands with Triple H.
