WWE confirmed podcast host and WWE fan Sam Roberts will be this month’s special Kickoff panel host at Sunday’s WWE Roadblock PPV. WWE posted the following:
Before WWE’s last pay-per-view of 2016 takes over WWE Network, be sure to check out the Roadblock: End of the Line Kickoff this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT.
The Kickoff will feature a bulldozing brawl between rival super-heavyweights Big Cass and Rusev. Plus, Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will be joined by WWE mega-fan Sam Roberts and Superstar guests on the Kickoff panel to discuss the night’s big matches.
Nicknamed “The Last Professional Broadcaster,” Roberts is a cohost of the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts radio show on XM and Sirius, as well as the host of the Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast. A lifelong fan of WWE, Roberts can often be spotted on WWE Network programming and will bring the voice of the WWE fan to the Kickoff panel.
The Roadblock: End of the Line Kickoff airs live on the award-winning WWE Network this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT, immediately preceding Roadblock: End of the Line 2016. In addition to WWE Network, the Kickoff streams on WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+.
Roberts’ name was brought up earlier this month as a rumored host after Hot 97’s Pete Rosenberg debuted at the TLC PPV kickoff show.
