Injured WWE Star Likely Undergoing Surgery This Week, Update on Paige’s WWE Status, Xavier Woods Raising Money for Christmas Toys

Update on Paige’s WWE Status

According to PWInsider.com, WWE officials expect injured star Paige to be back on the road shortly. Her WWE Wellness Policy suspension ended last Friday but she was not booked to return to the road this week. It’s believed she will be brought back to work for Total Divas filming or other appearances but she has not been cleared to wrestle after having neck surgery back in October.

While WWE did not reveal the results of Zack Ryder’s recent MRI, it appears he will be undergoing surgery as he Tweeted the following:

Flew to Birmingham, Alabama this morning…and not for a vacation.

Xavier Woods Raising Money for Christmas Toys

Xavier Woods joined his friend Chris Denker at Denker’s Twitch channel on Wednesday for a live gaming stream with giveaways that included WWE merchandise. The stream was done to raise money for Chris & Michelle’s 4th Annual Holiday Charity Stream, which provides Christmas toys to children in shelters and orphanages. Woods tweeted the following and noted that they raised more than $12,000 for the cause:

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
