Triple H Reveals Donald Trump Called WWE to See if Vince McMahon Was Okay Following 2007 Limousine Explosion Angle

Deadspin has published a new article looking back at a 2008 appearance by Triple H on the “Opie and Anthony Show”, during which Triple H discussed the infamous WWE angle which saw Vince McMahon’s limousine explode at the end of a Raw broadcast.

The angle took place back in 2007, and was supposed to culminate in a “funeral” for Mr. McMahon on Raw, but the angle was scrapped due to the Chris Benoit double murder suicide.

Triple H discussed how many people bought into the limousine angle, and thought it was real, and had the following to say about President-elect Donald Trump:

“What kills me is so many people [believed it]. I’m not kidding you, Trump called and was like, ‘Did something happen to Vince?'”

In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
