On His 2016 Experience After Asking WWE For His Release::
Here’s the thing. I left WWE for a reason. I didn’t leave WWE because I hate WWE. I left WWE because I wanted better. I’m not okay with just sitting on the sidelines, waiting and waiting, I’m very proactive. I want to be the top guy on the Indy’s and I went out and showed them who I am, that I can be a draw. I’ve been a draw on every show that I have been on, with sellout crowds.
On His Accomplishments in 2016 and His Goals for 2017:
I’m not satisfied with 2016, nothing is ever good enough. You will be able to see me more on Lucha Underground, as well as continue to see me all over the world. Hopefully in a couple of places that might be in the works right now, which I’m not going to let you in on, but let’s just say that you never know when the Callihan Death Machine is going to show up, which I have made evidently clear this year. Every show, around the world I might show up. One day I’m in California, one day I’m in Chicago, or in Ohio one day in New York, England, Japan, Scotland, Tampa. Don’t go anywhere because you never know where I’ll show up. I pride myself being one of the hottest commodities in professional wrestling.
On His Natural Creativity:
My brain is always going, going, going. I’m always writing. Always putting ideas down. I’m always taking stuff and writing it down. I can be anywhere; just taking a napkin and writing something down, coming up with an idea for something and writing everything down. One day I’ll go through this box and say, let’s see what my brain has come up with the last couple of years. I want everything about me to be organic. My character isn’t just a character; it’s truly a part of me right now. Everything about my character is me somewhere deep down inside.
One of His Dream Opponents He’d Like to Face in 2017:
I’m putting it out there now that I want to face Kongo Kong. So, Kongo, if you want to battle sometime next year, we both work for AAW, so anytime you want to have an AAW title match, all you have to do is come up at me.
