The latest episode of “The Ric Flair Show”, hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, is now available to listen to in full at this link and below are some show quotes from Flair:

On Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Title Match on Raw:

Well, I think I’m back on TV now. As I’ve told her [Charlotte], it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about having the greatest match. Every time they work, the bar goes up. They had the greatest match I’ve ever seen, I mean, it was so real–the Kendo stick. I’m just so proud of both of them, of course I’m partial to Ashley [Charlotte] because she’s my daughter, but Sasha took it to her; they did it. The big thing that I thought was great on the moonsault that Charlotte did, it’s a big deal to have caught her during that moonsault because if she doesn’t, she’s crashes, that’s a cement floor, that’s not a mat. Sasha took the bump, took the hit, I mean, it was unbelievable and I was so proud to be there, so honored in my hometown. I got to go out in the end and I thought once again that the Women’s division with Charlotte and Sasha, the bar has been raised so high. I actually said it that night and I’ll say it now; that was the best match, and Kevin Owens had a hell of a match too that night, but the Women’s match was the best match on the card, which says a lot, in the Women’s division. The whole family was at the show, sitting front row; and you know what, I want to live long enough to induct her into the Hall of Fame. She is in such a great place; I will see her in Austin on Monday, and then she leaves for Afghanistan with Vince [McMahon] for five days. She’s in a great place and then I will see her in Philadelphia. I am able to spend more time with her, unless they change the plans, but right now I’m going to be back on Monday, but it could change tomorrow, but God bless her, I’m so proud of her, and her entire family is proud of her.

On WWE 205 Live:

I didn’t see the show, but I hate to say it, I have so much respect for the Cruiserweights as athletes, but it’s not what I look forward to watching. I just feel like–first of all, I think Ashley [Charlotte] is a better athlete than the Cruiserweights. I think the Cruiserweights are great, they’re athletic, really nice guys, but they can’t have a match better than Sasha [Banks] and Charlotte. Now Vince has a story with me on the Network Show, “Story-Time” about me and Flight Attendants. What did I ever do with Flight Attendants? What is wrong with these people? They keep coming up with conversation lines that I don’t remember, it was 25 years ago.

On Fantasy Booking Wrestlemania 33:

I would love to see Charlotte vs Ronda Rousey, which I think would be huge. I know she will be in the Main Event somewhere, and I think they can make that work, but as you and I both know, Ronda has to win, I just know that Charlotte will be in the Main Event somewhere. I think Undertaker and Cena would be something I would love to see, but I can tell you this right now–if Cena and Taker wrestle, Undertaker would win. John has a whole new life, he doesn’t care, he’s the most giving guy in the world, as is Mark [Undertaker]. I think the biggest match people want to see would be Shane McMahon vs. Hunter. That would knock you out your chair for sure. I can tell you right now, if Brock and Goldberg, which I think it is, it’s going to be a lot different than what we saw last month.
