UFC reportedly postponed the UFC 208 event in Anaheim until August 5th due to a lack of suitable fighters, according to MMAFighting.com. It was noted that loading up on talent for UFC 205 and UFC 207 along with injuries were the reason for the event move.
UFC was scheduled to go head-to-head with Bellator on January 21st, with Bellator’s Tito Ortiz versus Chael Sonnen headlining fight at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif, and UFC at the Honda Center nearby. The February 11th UFC event in Brooklyn (formerly UFC 209) will now be called UFC 208; the Las Vegas card on March 4th is now UFC 209.
