NXT Women’s Champion Asuka vs Nichole Matthews

Asuka grabs Matthews wrist, then transitions to a single leg takedown.  Matthews scurries to the ropes to stop a potential submission attempt by Asuka. Matthews and Asuka trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Asuka floors Matthews with a kick to the head. Asuka hits multiple kicks to Matthews’ chest. Matthews collapses in the middle of the ring. Matthews retreats to the corner. Matthews gets a boot up as Asuka charges her. Matthews goes up top for a dive, but Asuka catches her mid-air and locks in a Fujiwara armbar. Asuka transitions to a cross arm breaker, then to the Asuka lock for the submission victory.

Winner- Asuka

Backstage, Samoa Joe tells us that Shinsuke Nakamura maybe getting his rematch on Dec. 3rd in Osaka, Japan but it won’t matter. Nakamura is not on his level. No matter how bad NXT General Manager William Regal may want Nakamura to be champ again, it isn’t going to happen. Tye Dillinger interrupts and asks Joe for a match tonight. Joe tells Dillinger that he isn’t on his level either. Dillinger says he may have 10 reasons Joe should give him a match, but he is only going to give him five. Dillinger slaps Joe in the face and walks away.
