Backstage News on Goldberg’s WWE Deal and Survivor Series Pay, Update on His Likely WrestleMania 33 Match

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bill Goldberg was given a “real big money deal” for his match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series.

As for Goldberg’s future in WWE, it’s being said Goldberg is open to wrestling for the same amount of pay as much as Vince McMahon wants him to, so how often we see Goldberg in WWE from here on out looks like it all depends on how much Vince wants to use him.

As for Goldberg’s WrestleMania 33 match, we noted after Survivor Series that his feud with Brock Lesnar does not appear to be over, and it’s likely the two will face each other at WrestleMania. A possible setup for the WrestleMania rematch could take place at the Royal Rumble, during which Brock Lesnar interferes in the Royal Rumble match causing Goldberg to get eliminated.

This is a similar angle to the one WWE did back in 2004, where Lesnar cost Goldberg the Royal Rumble, and Goldberg then cost Lesnar the WWE Title, setting up their WrestleMania 20 match.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
