Ringside Fest 13 – October 2016
Last weekend was Ringside Collectibles annual event in New York where Mattel reveals some new WWE figures as well as WWE stars show up to sign for guests. This year Daniel Bryan, Finn Balor, Bayley and Sasha Banks were the guests.
At this event a ton of new figures were revealed, way too many new ones to show you in one article. If you’d like to see them all check out these links with a gallery:

Or simply watch this display walkthrough video with Bill Miekina, Mattel’s WWE toy designer, here:
This event is usually the second “Christmas” for collectors after San Diego Comic Con back in July as Mattel reveals a lot of goodies to get us prepared for the following year.
Some of the best news that came out of this, in my opinion, besides the figures shown in those photos, was:
- Mick Foley’s figure in Santa attire will release in 2017
- Goldberg is currently in the works to be made
- We can expect two Shane McMahon figures starting this Spring
- Elite Unpainted Finn Balor is the next Ringside Exclusive
- We can expect a Dude Love figure to be made
- Superstar Billy Graham is possibly in the works
- Nakamura will be part of the Defining Moments line with his debut attire
- Chainsaw Balor, Flashback Vince and Ministry Undertaker will all join the Toys R Us WWE Network Spotlight series starting in January – Vince is first, Taker is second and then Balor follows after
Here’s the Q&A from Bill at Mattel as well:

Overall, a lot of great figures came out of here. I’m very excited for those Network Spotlight Elites, the Defining Moments Nakamura as well as the new Enzo and Cass figures, both Basic and Elite (Elite Enzo not shown). The flashback Elite Boogeyman and Elite Asuka look phenomenal, which are also two of Bill’s favorites, he’s worked on. You can pre-order some of these already on the Ringside site if you’re interested!
Another great place to keep up with wrestling figure news is @WWETNAfigures with over 12k followers on Twitter where I report all of this type of news as it surfaces, from figure findings to sales to new figure info as seen here. There may be a lot more info coming out of RSF by the time you read this so give that account a follow if you’re on Twitter and want the latest scoop!
