Impact Grand Championship Match: Aron Rex (C.) vs Jesse Godderz
Round One-
Godderz takes down Rex. Rex gets to his feet. Rex and Godderz trade punches in the ring. Rex retreats tot he corner. Godderz Irish whips Rex and hits a dropkick. Godderz tries to lock in the Boston Crab, but Rex kicks him away. Godderz lands a crossbody for a near fall. Godderz locks in a Shoulder lock, which he transitions into a Fujiwara armbar. As the clock ticks down Rex hides in between the ropes.
Round One Winner: Jesse Godderz
Round Two-
Rex takes Godderz down to the mat with a side headlock. Godderz fights out of it but ends up eating the kitchen sink. Two count by Rex. Godderz surprises Rex with a roll up for a two count. Rex tries a suplex, but Godderz rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Godderz manages to move out of the way of a charging Rex and rolls him up for another near fall. Multiple strikes by Godderz, followed by a powerslam for a long two count. Rex trips Godderz into the bottom rope. Rex tries to attack Godderz, but Godderz double legs him and locks in the Crab. Rex is saved by the bell.
Round Two Winner: Jesse Godderz
