Chris Sabin, one half of the Motor City Machine Guns, was pulled from last night’s Ring of Honor Road to Final Battle live event in Lakeland, Florida. Sabin was scheduled for a tag team match alongside Alex Shelley against members of The Cabinet, but the official ROH Twitter account announced that he had been replaced with Jay White in the match due to injury.
We can not yet confirm the severity of his injury, but obviously we wish Chris all the best in recovery and we’ll keep you updated on his condition when more information becomes available.
This is not the first time the 34-year-old Detroit native has been taken out of action. He was off television for nearly two years between 2011 and 2013 with a torn ACL on two separate occasions, both of which required surgery during his tenure with TNA. He returned to Ring of Honor in 2015 and reformed Motor City earlier this year.
