In Ring Segment: Cody
Cody says he didn’t leave his former employer because of money, he left because he wanted to take advantage of moments like this. Cody tells the story of when he told his father that he wanted to be a wrestler. Cody notes that Dusty told him that if he is going to do it, he has to be the best. To be the best he has to be the world champion. Tonight, he will become the world champion. TNA Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards hits the ring. Edwards tells Cody that he respects him. Edwards says he knows who he is and the crowd knows who Edwards is- but does Cody know who he is? Cody tells Edwards that after tonight, Edwards will know who Cody is.
Bobby Lashley makes his way down the ramp. Lashley says he sees the future. The future is that whoever wins Cody and Edwards match tonight will get destroyed by him for the title. Moose’s music plays and he joins them in the ring.
