The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting in addition to these dates, the previously taped content from the October tapings, as well as two shows filmed at Matt Hardy’s property in Cameron, North Carolina would likely carry them through the end of the year. It was noted that the reported ‘Total Nonstop Deletion’ show could air on December 15th, and there may be a two hour ‘Hardy Family Christmas’ special in the works that would air on December 22nd.
This would leave the December 29th airing open for a review / best-of show, and the first show of 2017 would air on January 5th. TNA is currently scheduled for their first taping day of 2017 on January 4th at Universal Studios.
Josh Bredl
Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl has reportedly been dealing with a severe concussion for several months, which is why he has not been seen as of late.
NXT
The NXT brand will reportedly be taping television content at upcoming live events which would fill out the rest of the 2016 NXT TV schedule on WWE Network.
NXT currently has content scheduled that would air through November 2nd, but they don’t have another television taping scheduled at Full Sail University until November 30th, which is the last one of the year. WWE said they would taping at some live events over the next few weeks, and it was speculated that the majority of the November 9th and 16th shows would need to be taped somewhere, since one of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament matches was previously taped. It was also noted that the November 23rd show could possibly be taped before Takeover in Toronto, and the content could be edited in to broadcasts like WWE did with last year’s Dusty Classic.
