UFC has announced that Ronda Rousey will make her return to the Octagon at UFC 207 on Friday, December 30th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Rousey will face the 13-4 Amanda Nunes at the event headlined by Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum.
During today’s edition of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, UFC President Dana White announced the fight and offered the following comment:
“The thing that everybody has been waiting for for a good year, Ronda Rousey is back. Ronda Rousey is gonna be back. She will fight Dec. 30 for the title, in Vegas, against Amanda Nunes for the title.”
Rousey, who is 12-1 in her UFC career, has not fought since she lost to Holly Holm via knockout back in November 2015.
