Will Ospreay Documentary Officially Announced

The Tag Rope Films have announced today that a feature-length documentary following the career of British professional wrestler, Will Ospreay is officially in production.

The documentary, which charts Ospreay’s story from the humble beginnings of the backyard, through plight and hardship to where he is today, at the very precipice of global stardom.

Over 50% of the documentary has been fully shot, however, as it stands, there is footage – particularly of Ospreay competing in Japan – that is currently out of reach. In order to properly finance the project to completion, a Kickstarter campaign has been launched.

You can view the Kickstarter project here.

The campaign offers a number of incentives for prospective contributors, from online test screenings, Skype calls from Ospreay himself to yes…even a ‘Cheeky Nando’s’ in person with ‘The Aerial Assassin’.

On top of that, there’s also exclusively curated t-shirts and posters from graphic design studios Rainmaker Inc. and La De La, not to be made available for purchase anywhere else.

Ryan Carse, editor of The Tag Rope and producer for the documentary said: “We’ve all made great sacrifices to get to this stage and we will continue to do so.

But with your support, you can help us achieve our goal, make life a little easier and give us the creative freedom to tell Will’s story.”

You can follow the documentary’s progress on Twitter at @OspreayFilm.
