In Ring Segment: Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho
Owens says he listened to Rollins interview and if he was smart he would sit home and let his ribs heal up. Rollins has done nothing to earn another title shot. Rollins can blame Owens for his loss. Rollins is running around blaming everyone for his loss including the referee. If that’s the case, they need a Referee that can handle anything. The Referee should be Chris Jericho. Jericho says that isn’t a bad idea, but he has a better one- they should challenge The New Day for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Owens says Sheamus and Cesaro have a tag title shot lined up. Jericho says ok, but they can challenge New Day to a no title match, win that, then win the title after they earn their shot.
Owens says that sounds like a lot of work and he already has too much on his plate. Jericho notes that it’s not that much work and it’s not like he asked for a shot at Owens’ Universal Championship. Jericho stares at the title. Owens realizes what is about to happen and agrees to go after the tag belts with Jericho. The New Day’s music hits and they walk out on the ramp. Kingston tells Jericho that New Day has the best friendship in the WWE. Jericho tells Kington that he just made the list. Big E. makes fun of the fact that Jericho doesn’t have a title. Jericho puts Big E. on the list. Woods laughs, so Jericho adds him to the list. Owens tells New Day that they jumped the shark. Woods tells Owens that he knows for a fact that don’t swim, also he needs to look at himself. When was the last time Owens jumped over anything (HA!). Owens tells Jericho to put Woods on the list again. New Day accepts Jericho and Owens challenge.
