Roman Reigns Talks Overcoming a Recent Lack of Direction in WWE, What it Means to Be U.S. Champ, Unfinished Business with Rusev, More

After capturing the United States Title at WWE Clash of Champions, The Big Dog discusses his frustrations over the last several months, his renewed focus as a fighting American, and his unfinished business with Rusev.

Michael Cole introduces Reigns as the new WWE US Champion, and Reigns calls it a blessing. Reigns admits he has had some lows in the past 6 months, and he has been able to get back into “the shop” and now he has a new direction and new responsibility.

On the past 6 months and some of the lows and lack of direction he has had, Reigns says that he loves the opportunity to be a WWE superstar and compete live in the ring on Monday Night Raw. Reigns added now he has something he can defend, the US Title, and he now has a piece of the company on his shoulder instead of a chip on his shoulder. He added that he has lasted through his downtime, and he is building his legacy in WWE.

Reigns went on to talk about his unfinished business with Rusev, the disrespect Rusev showed the U.S. Title by holding it over people’s heads and more:
