Kurt Angle’s Brother Sentenced to Prison

According to The Post-Gazette, the brother of former WWE and TNA star Kurt Angle, David Angle, was sentenced today to 2 1/2 to 10 years in prison stemming from the September 2015 killing of his wife Donna Angle. Angle plead guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter in June.

As we previously noted, Angle, 63, told police that on the morning of September 20th, 2015, he and his wife had a domestic dispute and “she was smacking me, I was smacking her. She fell on the floor. I had my knee on her chest, not long but long enough I guess. I tried to revive her and I can’t get her back. This has been 10 minutes.”

TNA’s Jeremy Borash recently appeared on Wrestling Observer Live, and during the appearance Borash had the following to say about the TNA and WWE segments:

“Well I can’t divulge what I actually know, but you’re dead-on and the fact [the WWE segment] was done, I actually know who suggested it and who got it on, who made it. If you compare the numbers in terms of budget and effectiveness or whatever, I’ll just say I watched it with a smile on my face the entire time.”
