New Title Match Added To WWE Clash Of Champions, AJ Styles Segment Announced For Smackdown, Identity Of Nia Jax’s Opponent

As seen on RAW tonight, WWE Smackdown Live will feature a final confrontation between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose and his challenger AJ Styles before they compete at WWE Backlash this Sunday. 

WWE Clash Of Champions 

WWE confirmed The New Day will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson at the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view this month. 

WWE Clash of Champions will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday, September 25th. It was also confirmed tonight that Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at the PPV.

Nia Jax 

Nia Jax’s opponent on RAW tonight, billed as Ann Esposito, is Monica Passeri, a Kansas City based wrestler. Passeri has also appeared for Harley Race’s World League Wrestling (along with Bo Dallas’ RAW opponent, Kyle Roberts).

Alicia Fox tweeted a photo of Ann before tonight’s show, and it was also seen on RAW in place of the in-ring promos that have been used the past few weeks. Nia and Alicia then got into an argument backstage after the match, leading to speculation the two may meet in a match:
