More Lesnar – Y2J News

According to the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, host Dave Meltzer noted WWE did indeed want blood for the finish of the Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton match, but not necessarily the amount that ended up being drawn, which as seen on TV was quite a lot.

One of the reasons why Chris Jericho was so concerned with Randy Orton’s condition was due to the amount of blood drawn, and when he and Brock Lesnar eventually had a backstage altercation following the SummerSlam main event, Vince McMahon had to yell “It was a work! It was a work!” to calm Jericho down and let him know blood was actually intended.

Earlier today, PWInsider.com reported blood was not intended in the match, so there seems to be conflicting information where it pertains to Lesnar busting open Randy Orton.
