Aries says he has been beating people better than Jose for years. Takeover Brooklyn will be no different. Bobby Roode says he has been waiting for this opportunity for years. There is no better place to debut than Brooklyn. Andrade “Cien” Almas says Roode has no idea what is waiting for him at Takeover. The Revival says they are the reason the NXT tag division is what it is today. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa say they earn their shot and they will be the next tag champs.
Backstage, William Regal notes that last year’s Takeover was great but this year is shaping up to be even better. Billie Kay Interrupts and says it can’t be the best ever if she isn’t on the show. For it to be the best, she needs to be on the card. Regal says that Kay is correct. At Takeover, she will face the debuting Ember Moon.
