Fourth Match: Raul Mendoza (Mexico) vs. THE Brian Kendrick (USA) in a First Round Match in the Cruiserweight Classic Tournament
Kendrick applies a wrist lock. Kendrick kicks Mendoza in the leg. Mendoza with a snap mare into a rear chin lock. Kendrick with knees to the gut of Mendoza. Kendrick applies a side headlock. Kendrick drops Mendoza with a shoulder tackle. Mendoza responds with a headscissors takeover and Kendrick rolls to the outside. Mendoza with a chop/jab combination. Mendoza with a modified big swing into a leg lock. Kendrick reaches the bottom rope. Kendrick with a boot to the face of Mendoza. Kendrick gets Mendoza mouth trapped on the second rope. Kendrick kicks the rope. Kendrick with a double armbar to Mendoza. Mendoza rolls Kendrick up for a two count. Mendoza’s mouth is busted open.
Kendrick with a running clothesline to Mendoza in the corner. Mendoza with a springboard missile dropkick and Kendrick rolls to the outside. Mendoza follows that up with a corkscrew plancha. Mendoza goes for a Springboard 450 Splash, but Kendrick rolls out of the way. Mendoza drops Kendrick with a single leg lariat for a two count. Kendrick regains momentum with a Rocket Kick. Kendrick ascends to the top rope, but Mendoza with a leaping dropkick that gets Kendrick tied in tree of woe. Mendoza connects with the Coast to Coast for a two count as Kendrick gets his foot on the bottom rope. Kendrick plays possum with Mendoza. Kendrick with a reverse headlock takeover into a Bully Choke and Mendoza taps out.
Winner: THE Brian Kendrick (USA) via Submission
