Randy Orton
Following tonight’s Miz TV segment, Randy Orton ended up facing The Miz after a challenge for his first match in nearly nine months.
According to wrestling statistician Darren Bongiovanni, Orton’s last match was on October 12th, when he teamed with Dean Ambrose in a losing effort to The New Day on RAW. Additionally, tonight marks his first Smackdown match since teaming with Roman Reigns to beat the Wyatt Family on October 8th, and his first singles match since he beat Bo Dallas on the September 28th episode of RAW.
Rhyno
Heath Slater appeared on tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live in an attempt to get signed after going undrafted. He cut a promo about why his resume spoke for itself, but Shane McMahon said he already found the hottest free agent on the market. Slater then turned around and got gored by Rhyno, who most recently made an appearance on NXT TV this month.
