This first of three CSR segments is all about the WWE Draft and reaction to it. Here’s some highlights from the conversation:
Justin LaBar:
RAW certainly has the across the board balance. They have some established guys, they have some who have been there for a couple years and they have some new faces. RAW won the battle. SmackDown might ultimately win the war. It’s a wide spectrum. It’s either John Cena, Randy Orton or Dolph Ziggler—established talent or it’s Baron Corbin and other new guys. A lot of fresh match ups. A lot of rubs and credibility. Potentially creating a whole lot more top superstars than over on RAW. SmackDown didn’t win on paper, but I think if we check back in 6 months or a year, they will be OK.
Ronnell Hunt:
At the end of the day the key is to have longevity. It’s all about longevity. Don’t give them something that can die quickly. I do feel at end of day SmackDown has a lot longer potential with story lines they can do.
