WWE SmackDown Results (7/14) – Ambrose vs Owens, Ziggler Upsets Rusev, Darren Young On Miz TV

Fourth Match: Kalisto w/Sin Cara vs. Tyler Breeze w/Fandango 

Breeze attacked right away, but Kalisto was able to use his speed and make the comeback, hitting a lucha arm drag. Fandango distracted Kalisto, allowing Breeze to hit a superkick for a near fall. Kalisto with a springboard corkscrew splash. Breeze goes for the corner mount slam. Kalisto with a springboard dropkick. Kalisto with the Salida Del Sol to pickup the victory. 

Winner: Kalisto 

Miz TV with Special Guest Darren Young & Bob Backlund: 

Thanks both Young and Backlund for coming on the show. For those who don’t know who Bob Backlund is? Miz shows us a video package that center’s around Backlund’s history in the WWE. The Grand Rapids crowd gives Backlund a standing ovation. Miz wants to take a look at the career highlights of Darren Young. He typed Young’s name in the search engine on the WWE Network and again nothing appeared. Young tells Miz that it doesn’t matter because at Battleground he’s going to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Miz said that Young didn’t really win the Battleground Battle Royal. Miz want’s to know why Backlund would waste his time trying to make Young great again? Backlund says that Miz is not a great champion. To be a great champion you need to be a role model. Maryse tells Backlund that 1982 called and they said your old. Miz calls Backlund Howdy Duty. Backlund has the wrestling ability of Forrest Gump. Young gets off his chair and says that Miz can disrespect him, but he’s not going to allow Miz to disrespect his life coach. Young declares that he’s going to become the next Intercontinental Champion. Young and Miz get’s into a stare off.
