The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Moose’s TNA contract was almost a ‘sure thing’ since WWE had backed off on signing him. This follows earlier reports that Moose had an offer on the table from TNA, but Ring Of Honor was reportedly still an option.

The Observer reported sources said the TNA deal is for $80,000 the first year, and $96,000 in the second year of a two-year deal. TNA sources have reportedly disputed this and said it’s $75,000, and it’s a similar contract to ones offered to The Hardys, Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway, and the same ones signed by The Wolves, Lashley and others. TNA will reportedly have rights to book Moose to a maximum of 110 dates, which was also reported by PWInsider.com, and Moose will retain rights to book himself with certain independent promotions.
Moose’s deal wasn’t actually signed until yesterday’s show, but TNA creative was reportedly working on the idea of him debuting as a surprise confrontation for Bobby Lashley for a couple of weeks.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting original WWE Summerslam plans called for the following matches:
Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship
John Cena versus AJ Styles for the new world title (introduced after the brand split)
Brock Lesnar versus Randy Orton
Sasha Banks versus Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship
With all that has happened in recent weeks, WWE Battleground is likely to have finishes that will head straight into WWE Summerslam
