While in India doing promotional work for WWE’s upcoming tour in the country, Alberto Del Rio spoke with The Indian Express and below are some highlights:
On working with The Great Khali:
“I know who Khali is. We worked together in WWE. It is just we were never friends, and hence I have no interest in meeting or seeing him or even talk to him.”

On why he didn’t sign with TNA after he was released from WWE in 2004:
“At the end of the day you can love what you do, but you have to be rewarded. If somebody wants to have me in their organization, they have to pay me, and there is no other place like WWE, which is a major league of progress and growth. TNA does not have the wherewithal as WWE does.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
