Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt No Longer Main Eventing UFC 200, Daniel Cormier Gets New 200 Opponent

Earlier tonight Combate announced that the female bantamweight title fight between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes will now headline UFC 200 on Saturday night, and the bout between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt has been moved to the co-main event slot.

In other UFC 200 news, in light of Jon Jones being pulled from the card following a possible doping violation, UFC has announced that Jones’ scheduled opponent Daniel Cormier will face Anderson Silva at Saturday night’s big event. The bout will be contested in the light heavyweight division and the title will not be on the line.

Anderson Silva has not fought since February 27th of this year in London when he lost a bout to Michael Bisping. Silva was scheduled to face Uriah Hall in Brazil following the Bisping bout, but emergency gallbladder surgery forced him to withdraw from the match.
