Randy Orton was officially confirmed as Brock Lesnar’s opponent at WWE Summerslam.
The announcement came in the form of a pre-taped studio segment featuring Corey Graves, Scott Stanford and Booker T. A graphic was displayed (seen below) revealing the matchup, and each panelist shared their opinions on the match and briefly ran over Lesnar and Orton’s history with each other.
It was noted that while Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton have faced off before, this will be the first time they have ever faced off one-on-one on a pay-per-view event. WWE Summerslam is live on August 21, 2016 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
