Tons of Backstage News on Final Deletion Production, Which TNA Name Edited & Directed?
As noted, this week’s edition of TNA Impact Wrestling, which featured the much hyped Final Deletion match between Matt and Jeff Hardy, set a new viewership record for Impact on POP TV.
According to PWInsider.com, all filming for the segment took place on location at Matt and Jeff Hardy’s homes in North Carolina. Jeremy Borash reportedly oversaw a small production crew that drove from Nashville to North Carolina for the shoot. Borash was the prime person responsible for the editing and direction of the segments, despite a lot of material being improvised by The Hardy Boyz during actual filming.

With regards to the genesis of the idea, it was said to be something Dixie Carter wanted, as she was looking for new and fresh ideas, and she also wanted something spoiler free, which is a big reason why Final Deletion did not take place in the ring. By shooting it on location, Carter knew results wouldn’t leak on the internet.
Cody Rhodes Reveals Why He Had Recent Talks With WWE
As noted, Cody Rhodes had recent talks with WWE regarding some type of merchandise deal, but would not entail Rhodes returning to the company in any capacity.
Rhodes was the guest on the debut edition of The Ric Flair Show on MLW Radio, and during the appearance Rhodes revealed the recent discussion he had with WWE was related to the biography of his father, the late Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes added he needed to work out a rights deal with WWE so he could continue writing the book which he started after Dusty passed away.
