Jerry Lawler
It was noted that Jerry Lawler will make his return to commentary on this week’s WWE Smackdown.
Several live reports from Toledo, Ohio (host of tonight’s taping) noted Lawler was introduced and made his way to commentary with Mauro Ranallo and Byron Saxton. Lawler’s indefinite suspension was recently lifted by WWE and it was expected he would make his return at tonight’s show.

Tonight’s dark match that took place before tonight’s WWE Smackdown tapings featured The New Day versus The Vaudevillains. Kofi and Big E competed for The New Day, and they picked up the win after Kofi pinned Aiden English.
