More on Jerry Lawler’s WWE Status
Now that his WWE suspension has been lifted, Jerry Lawler is expected to return to commentary at this week’s WWE Smackdown tapings in Toledo, Ohio.
Sheamus Works as a Babyface
As noted, a U.S. Title Tornado Match took place at WWE’s live event in Huntington, WV last night, and it featured Rusev defending the title against Sheamus, Cesaro, Kalisto and Sami Zayn. For what it’s worth, Sheamus worked the match as a babyface, but that could be because WWE has been working with somewhat of a skeleton crew this weekend.
29 Talents and Hotel Information Announced for WrestleCon 2017
WrestleCon has announced more details for next year’s events taking place during WrestleMania 33 week, including hotel and talent information. The Hyatt Regency in Orlando will house the Wrestlecon autograph and photo sessions with over 100 talents appearing as well as special Q&As and more. The Wyndham Resort will be set up as a 1,400 seat arena, complete with elevated bleachers, for eight different live events over the course of the weekend, and the 2017 WrestleCon Supershow will cap off the events.
The following talents have been announced for WrestleCon 2017: The Godfather, Road Warrior Animal, Jimmy Snuka, Madusa, Tito Santana, Tony Atlas, Paul Orndorff, Barry Windham, and Greg Valentine as well as Hornswoggle, Perry Saturn, The Sandman, Vader, Col. Robert Parker/Robert Fuller, Jim Mitchell, Hillbilly Jim, The Boogeyman, Lanny Poffo, Outback Jack, The Headbangers, Barry Horowitz, Jillian Hall, The Godwins, Marty Janetty, former WWE Diva BB, Stacy Carter, Ron Bass, Leilani Kai, Jacques Rougeau and Winter/Katie Lea Burchill.
