BBC Radio 1 Dives Into The Crazy World of WWE with “Superstar Wrestlers”

Pro Wrestling Documentaries are no stranger to any professional wrestling/sports entertainment fan. From Beyond the Mat to Wrestling Road Diaries, wrestling fans all around the world gravel at the mouth for any type of behind the scenes documentaries on the business they love. Long length documentaries on professional wrestling have really taken a life of it’s own over the past 10 years to the point where WWE has a full slate of documentaries on the WWE Network in “Beyond the Ring” & “WWE 24”. BBC Radio 1 in the UK recently released their WWE based documentary “Superstar Wrestler” with Radio Personality Greg James, who’s been a life long fan of the business.

Greg took a trip to New York to find out what it takes to make it to the top of the WWE. Greg got to talk shop with a bevy of WWE Superstars like Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Charlotte, Sami Zayn, Enzo & Big Cass, Stephanie McMahon and so much more. While there’s still negative stereotypes that comes with professional wrestling, I felt that BBC knocked it out of the park with demystifying those myth’s that comes from the detractors. This documentary has something for everybody, for the mainstream fan who’s into the storylines and characters and also blends in something for the super passionate die hard fans.
