Nikki Bella Addresses Accusations of Being a “Gold Digger” Because of Cena Relationship, Brie Bella Talks Retirement From WWE and More

The Bella Twins are featured on the cover of this month’s Latina Magazine and below are some interview highlights from within the issue:

Nikki Bella on the accusation that she is a gold digger due to her relationship with John Cena:

“People thought I was such a gold digger. Because my man is handsome and successful, that makes me a gold digger? First of all, I pay my own bills and I still pay my own bills. But if your man is gonna give you a gift, you’re gonna accept it. I’m not gonna be like, ‘No, can you please take back the Louis Vuitton purse?’ Absolutely not.”

Nikki on wanting to marry John:

“I have to remind him when I get hit on, ‘I got hit on because no one saw a ring.’ The good thing is, he’s more open to marriage now—kids, unfortunately, no… When I envision having my life without John, it hurts more than having a life without kids.”

Brie Bella on retiring from WWE earlier this year:

“Bryan and I have had serious baby fever for the last year… I just felt like I should move on to the next chapter of life together with him and not just have him be at home waiting for me while I live his dream.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
