Rollins goes nuts. He really, really wants this to be a singles match. Stephanie McMahon comes out and says what happened with Reigns is an embarrassment, but the only thing worse is the fact that Ambrose is standing in the ring as the WWE champion. Stephanie says Shane McMahon isn’t here, or she would ask him what they should do. If Cena and Styles want to be in the title match, they have to earn their way in. Cena will take on Rollins and Ambrose will take on Styles. If Styles or Cena win their matches they will be added to the world title match at Battleground.
Charlotte and Dana Brooke vs Paige and Sasha Banks
Charlotte runs away before Banks can get her hands on her. Charlotte tags in Brooke. Banks forces Brooke into the corner and face washes her with her boot. Brooke trips Banks into the corner. Brooke pats Banks on the head. Banks stands up and slaps the taste out of Brooke’s mouth. Paige tags in. Paige and Banks clothesline Brooke and follow that up with a double dropkick that sends Brooke to the outside.
After a short break, Brooke and Charlotte are working over Paige. They take Paige over with a double suplex. Charlotte gets a two count after a pin attempt. Charlotte locks in a rear chin lock. Paige fights out of it, but Charlotte takes her over with a flipping neck breaker. Paige surprises Charlotte with three superkicks. Paige finally manages to tag in Banks. Banks lands a few clotheslines to Brooke, followed by Banks’ patented double knees in the corner. Banks locks in the Banks Statement for the submission victory.
