According to MCall.com, as prosecutors continue their case against Jimmy Snuka, stemming from the 1983 death of Snuka’s then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino, Lehigh County prosecutors this week asked a judge to force Snuka to undergo mental health treatment.
We last reported that the judge in the case, Kelly L. Banach, found Snuka incompetent to stand trial on June 1st and added she did not think Snuka was “smart enough” to be faking his mental illness.
On Monday of this week, Chief Deputy District Attorney Charles Gallagher filed a motion, this time asking that Snuka be compelled to participate in outpatient mental health treatment for 60 days “to ascertain whether the defendant can be competent to stand trial.”
A hearing on the motion has not yet been scheduled. Due to a gag order, lawyers in the case cannot answer questions.
