This first of four CSR videos this weekend at the Squirrel Hill Sports Bar is talking all things about the Roman Reigns suspension. Here’s an excerpt:

Josh Isenberg:

I think WWE was well aware and people will say why make the triple threat? It’s because they knew he would be back in time and if you have a triple threat where the two guys who can talk are still there, you can still build the match. Think about how much time he spent off leading to WrestleMania, he wasn’t around for half of that build and it didn’t hurt it. I don’t want Reigns in this tripe threat at Battleground, I’d rather it be SummerSlam in Brooklyn. Reigns suspension is going to hurt him, we’ve learned suspensions have hurt people. Randy Orton was already established and multiple champion before his two. I compare Reigns to a Mr. Kennedy, although Reigns more popular and Champion where Kennedy wasn’t, but the guy who was popular for a little bit of time and could be hurt by this. The crowd is going to boo him even more, so you better make him the Ryan Braun of wrestling.

Justin LaBar:

My initial reaction was WWE had to have just found this out. But I’ve since thought about it and I agree, they must of known. The conflict between these 3 has been going on for two years so you don’t need all of them around to build this match. I disagree with you, I think this is going to be a blessing in disguise for Reigns. Vince probably wasn’t happy about this news but the people working for Vince, the creative team, probably took a deep breath of relief and slept a little better with the little bit of sleep they get. It gets him off TV, things reset. The Roman Reigns being top heroic baby face is done for now, no option. Portion of fans who already didm;t like him feeling he was force fed, now they have him as Champion getting popped for wellness violation in their arsenal. He’s getting booed out the building, embrace it. He returns at PPV, don’t let him win the title but the next night let him cut the promo saying everyone wants to see me fail but I’m back and better than all of you.

The debate continues about how WWE doesn’t acknowledge the suspensions on-air the significance of this situation. Watch the full conversation below:
