Earlier today just before Justin LaBar and I were set to record our weekly 120 Sports videos the news of Roman Reigns‘ WWE suspension broke.

JL: First and foremost, luckily they dropped the title off of him. I don’t think they necessarily knew about this before they made the decision to drop the title off of him. Otherwise, why would they make the decision on Monday Night RAW to announce a triple threat match? Granted the triple threat match is a little more than thirty days away. The PPV is on July 24th I believe. If you’re not going to have him around then he can’t build to it. As far as I know, it’s not a case where WWE is drug testing him to where he takes the test, pees in a cup and they know within an hour. There’s a little gap in time at most drug testing facilities. This seems to just be the ultimate wrinkle in what WWE thought was going to be, “Hey! We are giving everybody the SHIELD triple threat!” Now… it’s not there.
