Two New Tag Team Matches Added to WWE Money in the Bank; Pre-Show Matches Moved to Main Card

WWE is apparently going to great lengths to beef up their tag team division, as this Sunday’s WWE Money in the Bank match card just got a few big, last minute changes.

First of all, the previously announced pre-show matches between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler, as well as Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews are still happening, but they’ve been bumped up to the main card instead. In their place, WWE will be running two new tag team matches on the live and free kickoff show – The Lucha Dragons vs. The Dudley Boyz, and The Golden Truth vs. Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango).

Of course, this is in addition to the big four-way match for the WWE tag team titles that will see The New Day defend against The Club, The Vaudevillians, and the self-proclaimed “realest guys in the room”, Enzo Amore and Big Cass. WWE Money in the Bank is live on the WWE Network this Sunday night, and Wrestlezone will have live and exclusive coverage kicking off with pre-show at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Fun fact: This marks the first time since SummerSlam 2015 that three traditional male tag matches (2-on-2) will be featured on the same card. And if you don’t include celebrity gimmick matches in that equation, you have to go all the way back to Royal Rumble 2015.
