Title Change at TNA Slammiversary

Eddie Edwards defeated champion Trevor Lee, Andrew Everett and DJZ to become the new TNA X-Division Champion in the opening match at tonight’s TNA Slammiversary PPV.

This win gives Edwards his first ever singles title in TNA, an accolade he can add to his five runs at TNA tag team champion, Ring of Honor world champion, tag team champion and television champion.

Change Made to Knockouts Title Match

Gail Kim was added to the scheduled Knockouts Championship match between Jade and Sienna at TNA Slammiversary. She was originally supposed to face off against Maria, but due to a broken hand, Maria was unable to compete.

Former WWE Superstar Backstage in TNA

Former WWE Superstar Jinder Mahal is backstage at tonight’s TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. Mahal was released from his WWE contract two years ago on this day. His former 3MB partner Drew Galloway is defending the TNA Heavyweight Championship in the main event tonight against Lashley.
