According to Wrestling Observer Radio, before speculation begins that Goldberg might be returning to WWE, it should be noted that 2K Sports signed the deal with Goldberg to appear in WWE 2K17, not WWE.
It should be noted, however, that 2K would not have been able to include Goldberg in the game without Vince McMahon’s direct approval, and as we have seen in the past, video game deals with names like Ultimate Warrior and Sting have lead to WWE returns.
In related news, Goldberg’s manager, Uncle Louie, has informed us that Goldberg is currently wrapping up post-production promotion of his latest film “Checkpoint.” After that, the former WWE and WCW Champion will be starring in a new action film, and will also preside over RM Sotheby’s American Auctions in Auburn Hills this September.
