On the decision to make Seth Rollins a bad guy even tho the fans are cheering him and Roman Reigns is getting booed:

VR: Let me tell you a little something about Vince McMahon. I knew this was going to happen last night. Before Sunday, before we knew Rollins was coming back, I said, “You don’t understand. Vince McMahon, the way he books and Vince McMahon’s philosophy and psychology is there still has to be a babyface and a heel.” For Vince McMahon to function and know how to put a program together or an angle together, in his mind, there has to be a babyface and a heel. They can’t be shades of gray. There has to be a babyface a heel. In Vince’s mind Reigns has always been the babyface. He’s booked Reigns as the babyface. Therefore, in Vince’s mind, Rollins has to be the heel. The minute he’s out there Vince is going to have him turn on the crowd, cut that promo on the crowd so that in Vince’s mind, “Ok, now I have my babyface and now I have my heel.” Vince can’t function any other way and that’s a huge part of the creative problem in 2016.

On the current state of WWE Creative:

VR: Can we forget the term WWE Creative? Can we all agree it’s Vince McMahon. Nobody has the balls to stand up to him. Nobody has the balls to say, “Vince, that’s really bad, it’s not good.” Let’s just agree it’s Vince McMahon. Let’s not used the facade of, “It’s the creative of Triple H, Stephanie, Shane…” It’s Vince McMahon calling the shots, ok? If Vince McMahon drops the ball on this Enzo and Big Cass. The same way he dropped the ball on Bray Wyatt. Who is just as equally talented as Enzo and Cass are. If Vince McMahon can drop the ball on these two talents. On two of the most talented guys with the “it” factor that I’ve seen come on this stage in the last ten years. Vince McMahon needs to look himself in the mirror and he needs to admit to himself, “Vince, you ain’t got it anymore, time has passed you by, it is time to retire.” If Vince fails at getting Cass and Enzo over huge he needs to step down and he needs to forget about wrestling.

On if he thinks that the Bray Wyatt character can be turned around:

VR: I’ve lost all confidence in anything. If you can’t get a guy like Bray Wyatt over then you just shouldn’t be working there. It’s that simple. They have failed that guy miserably. I don’t have any confidence in anything they would do with Bray Wyatt.
