More Details on Sasha Banks’ Injury Suffered at a Recent WWE Live Event, Recap of Cody Rhodes and Adam Rose’s Weekend WWE Releases

In today’s WrestleTalk News, Cody Rhodes and Adam Rose released by WWE and rumours of Sasha Banks injury.

Adam Rose Officially Released By WWE

Our top story today is the shock release of Cody Rhodes from WWE, but first, another, much less surprising release in the form of Adam Rose.

As a quick recap of the Rose saga so far, he was suspended for 60 days for a second Wellness Policy violation in April, where he publicly defended himself on Twitter, saying it was for appropriately prescribed ADHD medication that WWE knew about in advance. On 11th May, however, the suspension was made indefinite when Rose was arrested on charges of domestic battery and assault.

The latest development came with WWE’s statement on their Facebook page and WWE.com:

“WWE has granted Adam Rose’s request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavours.”

So not only has Rose been released by WWE, it was him who actually requested the release.

Sasha Banks Injured?

Sasha Banks is someone else who’s been missing from television recently – don’t worry, she’s not suspended or anything, but a new report has come out explaining her absence.

Originally it was said that Banks wasn’t on TV for “long-term storyline reasons,” presumably keeping her offscreen to eventually challenge for Charlotte’s Women’s Title.

Well now, according to F4WOnline, Banks hasn’t been on telly because she was injured during a match at a live event earlier this month where she was accidentally kneed in the head by a referee.

The injury hasn’t been officially confirmed by WWE but it looks like she might have suffered a concussion. There’s currently no word on when she could be set to return to the ring.
