Mike Bennett In-Ring Segment:
There seems to a few people who have yet to join the masses who chant “Yes We Do”. Bennett says that those people doesn’t believe in themselves. Speaking of people who don’t believe in themselves, Bennett brings up EC3. Bennett says that he could have another rassling match with him, but that wouldn’t prove anything. Bennett says that EC3 needs this Road to Redemption. If EC3 fails, he won’t fight Bennett at Slammiversary. EC3 lives in the past, but Bennett is looking towards the future. Bennett wants to become the greatest TNA Champion of all-time and a future Hall of Famer.
As a far as tonight is concern, Bennett wants to call out a TNA Hall of Famer. Don’t worry it’s not Kurt Angle because everytime Bennett challenges him to a match, Angle ducks and leaves. Bennett calls out Earl Hebner. Bennett says that he always wanted to Earl to officiate one of his matches. Now he wants to challenge him to a match. Think about it a TNA Hall of Famer vs. Future Hall of Famer. Bennett knows that Earl is not a wrestler, but by the time Bennett is a Hall of Famer, Earl will be dead. Bennett doesn’t want Earl’s son to officiate this match. Bennett wants Brian Stiffler to officiate this match. Bennett calls Earl a old man. Earl slaps Bennett in the face. Bennett tells Stiffler to ring the bell.
Third Match: Mike Bennett w/Maria Kanellis vs. Earl Hebner
Bennett with a big right hand that drops Earl Hebner. Bennett goes for the pin, but Stiffler stalls while making the pin. Hebner kicks out at the count of two. Hebner with a low blow to Bennett. Maria comes into the ring to argue with Hebner. Hebner snaps. He takes his shirt off and throws it at Maria’s face. Bennett drops Hebner with a big boot to pickup the victory.
After the match Bennett tries to lay out Hebner again, but EC3 music hit. EC3 storms into the ring, but Bennett rolls to the outside. Bennett says that the devil himself has come to save Earl Hebner. He never knew that EC3 was a caring person. Bennett says that EC3 has conquered one of his demons, but tonight he’ll face Tyrus in a Last Man Standing Match. Tyrus attacks EC3 from behind.
