Steve Austin
Stone Cold Steve Austin recently commented on Enzo Amore’s injury at WWE Payback on his podcast, The Steve Austin Show.
Austin talked briefly about why the injury happened, and shared his thoughts on Simon Gotch, who Irish whipped Enzo into the ropes before the injury. Austin says Gotch threw Enzo too hard being so close to the ropes, and he should have used less force. Additionally, Austin said these were just words of wisdom, and he wasn’t trying to come down hard on Gotch, and praised him for being a good talent, but said it was a scary bump, and Gotch suggested he “back off the horsepower” in a spot like that. Additionally, Austin said they should have checked to make sure Enzo was OK before picking him up by the head, noting that Gotch should have sensed something was wrong befor trying to pick Enzo back up.
