The Miz and Maryse are in the ring. Miz says it has come to his attention that the people actually think Cesaro can beat him. Miz says the Intercontinental title is more than just a title. It is legendary. Only the best superstars can carry it. Miz brings the title prestige. Cesaro could never do that. Miz runs down the Cesaro section and internet trolls. Cesaro walk to the ring and Miz does a few really bad movie impressions. Cesaro tells Miz the only movie he belongs in is Jackass. Miz gets in Cesaro’s face and asks if Cesaro is feeling lucky (punk). Cesaro tells Miz to go ahead and make his day. Miz goes to leave the ring. Miz tries to attack Cesaro, but Cesaro picks him up and hits sudden impact. Cesaro is about to swing Miz but Maryse hops on top of Miz to stop him.
Backstage Styles tells Reigns he is going to take his title at Payback. Reigns responds that only if Styles bought Anderson and Gallows front row tickets.
Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio
Reigns tosses Del Rio around the ring. Del Rio surprises Reigns with an enzguri. Reigns ends up on the outside of the ring. Del Rio double stomps Reigns off the ring apron. Del Rio has Reigns trapped in a rear chin lock. Reigns start to fight out of the hold, but Del Rio kicks him right in the back. Del Rio traps Reigns in the corner and smack talks him. Reigns head-butts Del Rio. Del Rio DDTs Reigns. Del Rio misses his head kick. Reigns picks him up for a Samoan drop, but Del Rio reverses it. Reigns clotheslines Del Rio. Reigns calls for the Superman punch. Del Rio retreats to the outside. Reigns drive-by kicks Del Rio’s head into the ring post.
