Kris Travis
Ring of Honor wrestler Donovan Dijak posted the link and following details to his GoFundMe charity for April, which will benefit the Cavendish Cancer Cure in honor of British wrestler Kris Travis, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
Travis’ funeral will be held next Monday, with services followed by a private burial.
For the month of April, Mike Bennett, Tommaso Ciampa, and Donovan Dijak have teamed up again to remember the life and work of Kris Travis.
Kris passed away on Thursday 3/31 from cancer at the young age of 32.
Mike and Tommaso, like many other wrestlers, met Kris Travis and would testify not just to the greatness of Kris in the ring, but to his greatness as a human being. Countless stories were told over Wrestlemania weekend of just how amazing it was to know Kris, and how he would often make you feel like a welcome friend upon your first ever interaction with him.
It’s very rare that a pro wrestler dies at such a young age, and it’s even more rare that they are also one of the nicest people and a great humanitarian. Kris was very involved in charity work, specifically the Cavendish Cancer Cure. Please donate, 100% of net proceeds will be donated directly to this charity in accordance with his families wishes.
