On WWE deciding to present an edgier product going in to WrestleMania:

BH: Whatever works. Vince has always got a pretty good idea of what he wants. It’s not like they do it everyday. If Vince is stepping that up a bit there’s probably a call for it or reason for it. At the same time, using “The F Word” or doing this or doing that doesn’t necessarily, to me, correlate to selling tickets or putting asses on the benches. Prior to the storyline with Shane coming out they really seemed to be floundering going in to WrestleMania. I was not that interested. I thought the Royal Rumble was a disaster. I thought it was one of the worst. Royal Rumbles should be the easiest and best PPVs. Next to WrestleMania they should be the best ones. They are so easy to tell stories in with all the guys coming out. It’s a really easy model to have a great PPV. I’d say the last three or four that I’ve watched have just been horrible. I would say that’s the writers. Absolutely. This year was no better. It was just awful. I was disappointed but I think RAW the last few weeks has done a good job trying to rekindle my interest.
